The Everett left fielder had a field day in the 14-3 triumph over the Boise Hawks, finishing up with a 5-5 day and a spot in the league record book.
"My hitting philosophy is pretty simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch."
Well, Goodman must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too. It was one of his best days ever with the bat.
C. Goodman singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit a two-run home run off J. Unknown in the 8th and walked in the 9th.
