Thursday, June 23rd, 2011: Red-Hot Craig Scorches Bay Bears
Chattanooga left fielder Pat Craig could do no wrong in today's 7-5 win over the Bay Bears as he collected 5 hits.

"In every one of his at-bats things were in his favor...he got hitter's counts," the skipper of the Bay Bears said to the press corps after the game.

Craig agreed. "The key is getting ahead. Once you get ahead, it makes it a lot easier because you get a better pitch to hit. You know the pitcher has to come in with it. And you're ready."

P. Craig singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.

This season Craig is hitting .373 with 12 home runs.

Montgomery first baseman Raúl García really lit up the Chattanooga Lookouts with a 5-hit barrage today at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium -- a performance that sparked the Biscuits to a 12-4 triumph.

He shrugged off the performance after the game and said, "Sometimes the ball finds outfielders, today the ball found some holes."

R. García hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI triple in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off C. Guevara in the 7th.
